RC5562 Evangelism in a Pluralistic World
On-site Course Dates: October 27-28, 2016
Instructor: Merv Budd, MDiv
Overview: We will explore what it means to be Christian witnesses in the current Canadian cultural context. We will wrestle with what it means to be living in a post-Christendom, post-modern and pluralistic society. We will explore how we are to bear witness to our culture in this context and how we might engage with other worldviews and beliefs which are at odds with the Christian faith. We will also consider how followers of Jesus can be faithful bearers of the Good News from a position of weakness and alienation.
Registered participants will be forwarded the preparatory reading list a minimum of 6 weeks prior to the course date.
Individual courses for grade may be taken at a cost of $700/course.
